The Lost Boys
Welcome to our blog! We will be writing about our adventures throughout Europe over the next half year (or longer). In case you read our title and thought "Lost Boys, wtf?" The Lost Boys are Peter Pan's followers who do not want to grow up. In order to stop the process of growing up and avoid responsibilities the Lost Boys escaped to Never Never Land. In our case Europe is our Never Never Land, a place to escape from growing up, from getting jobs, from becoming real people and having a shit ton of fun along the way!

Mark is the bobble head of the infamous Mark Bradford, father of the Bradford family. The Bradford family took me in under their wing while I lived in Indiana and so I thought I would take a piece of the along with me on this trip.

So if you find yourself being a grown up with responsibilities and are bored at work or at home, your escape is only a click away!

Thanks for reading!

Thank you Mubarak

Egypt is free! First stop, we are there! It's a good day.

Went to the market once again(pics will be up soon). Wish we had one like this in the Wisco.

We also went to the U.S. Embassy here where they continued to scare us shitless about pick-pocketers and the date rape. I don't know what their plans are here, but at this rate no one will see the outside of their apartment. Oh but wait, we aren't safe there either, we do have earth quakes...great. It's nice to know that these dangers are out there, but at the extent that we have to hear them is a little ridiculous.
Well on the plate for this evening we have salad. A little olive oil for dressing. Have to eat the rest of our spinach up before it goes bad. Anyone know what a kilo of spinach looks like? Imagine 2 plastic pick 'n' save bags filled to the top. Now imagine what that would cost in the U.S. It's only .65 euros here. I'll insert room for your jealousy here_____________________. Probably not enough space. I've never had better produce in my life, especially the oranges, godsent.
To go out or not to go out, that is the topic of this evening, and after a much needed nap I'm ready to raise my hand in the air, close fisted, and yes, fist pump it up.

  1. I am jealous. I really would like to get great oranges here. Once in awhile we might hit a great box of clementines in the winter but that is it. We Americans have traded taste for beauty. Another factor to the whole American diet thing. We eat beautiful food but the taste is lacking so we aren't satisfied and eat more!
